A former employee of JPMorgan Chase Bank (“Chase”) in San Antonio has filed a lawsuit against Chase alleging that it is guilty of misrepresenting information regarding thousands of debts they were selling. This employee was responsible for auditing accounts prior to selling them to debt buyers. She alleges that approximately 5,000 accounts had incorrect balances and 11,000 accounts with purported judgments did not have the proper court documentation. Situations such as this 0ne demonstrate the significant problems in the debt collection industry.
